(LOL - love the message from webpage.) Like others, GA was my first online love and experience. He got around though and aged quickly. Looking forward to meeting the new Mac Daddy - Convio.

A list of my favorite GetActive memories would not be complete without August 28, 2008: a code push causes the word "woot" to appear not just one client or one template but potentially as widespread as ALL GetActive donation pages -- right under the "* Required Fields" and above the submit button. Before there was Convio or GetActive, there was IGC. (Institute for Global Communications, igc.org). IGC was instrumental in getting many nonprofit, progressive and labor-organizations on the internet from 1987-2000. IGC shut down in fall 2010 (10 years ago). It's amazing how far things have come since then. While working at GetActive and Convio, it was great to see many of the same clients growing, succeeding and making the world a better place.

After working so hard at GA, it'd be great to reap some of the rewards by selling my shares in Convio in a few weeks. Would love for Convio to let former GetActive and Convio employees know how to sell their shares. Instead it seems like Convio cannot make it harder to understand the process, nevermind acquire and sell them. Thanks Austin!

I was looking back at some old stats from 2002. I was regularly getting 56% open rates. Of course my list was only 10,000 people...

The koan-like quality of administrative drop-down lists, puzzling out how they had been sorted. Each was like a snowflake - unique.
